Acai Super Bowl

This one is perfect for the most important meal of the day, the breakfast, providing fuel for our brains and bodies. This smoothie bowl is super easy to put together, full of antioxidants and can easily be customized to individual needs as you can top it with whatever fruit or grain you like.

The acai berry is a reddish-purple fruit and is native to Central and South America. The acai fruit pulp is richer in antioxidant than cranberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, or blueberries, and contains a good amount of fiber and heart-healthy fats.

Benefits of acai include cardiovascular health, fat burning, mood elevation, blood and colon detoxification, glowing skin tones, an increase in energy and anti-aging properties to name a few.

Acai Super Bowl

200-300 gr. frozen strawberries
2 frozen bananas
3-4 tbsp Acai powder*
2 tbsp almond butter
200 ml almond milk or any other nut milk
1/ 2 tbsp honey or 2 dates for a vegetarian version

Topping
Top bowl with different fruits like banana, fresh berries, dry fruit like super goji berries, crunchy muesli, roasted almond flakes or coconut flakes and bee pollen.
