HaPP Sesame Holiday Bisquits

Chocolate and nuts are a match made in heaven. These biscuits are easy to make and are delicious and crunchy as they are made with nuts and seeds.


Makes about 30 biscuits
Vegan / Gluten-Free


Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup almonds, chopped

  • ¼ cup pecan nuts, chopped

  • 1/3 cup dark organic chocolate, chopped  

  • 1 cup sesame seeds

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds  

  • ¼ cup sultanas or dried cranberries

  • ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut  

  • ½- ¾ cup maple syrup

  • Pinch of salt, Himalayan or sea salt


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 150° C  and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Combine all ingredients together in a mixing bowl.

  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough onto the baking tray. The biscuits are quite fragile at this stage, but when they have finished baking and have cooled, they will firm up.

  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, keeping a close watch on them as they burn easily. Remove from oven and allow to cool.


Can be stored in the fridge for up to two weeks.
